Hi JB,
I must confess i have been relatively inactive since the training day...a holiday and subsequent busy period at work has meant research/training time on the VT has been sparse. my paper trading has been limited to the 5/15 min charts during work time playing with some variations on the tornado and (yep you guessed it) the performance has been abysmal....i have no trading plan no discipline etc etc ....really amateur stuff but at least its been paper based ! I have realised that i'm not going to be able to trade seriously in the shorter time frames due to work so its 4hr+ charts for me as I fine tune my strategies.....I actually find the 4/daily/weeklys are more clearer in the patterns and entry/exit points, but to a novice keen to take on the world they are or course like riding a bike in a formula 1 race.....everyone else seems to be making multiple daily trades and money whilst you slowly move around the track at a few trades a week ! (if that) I will persevere and continue with the Tornado system which is excellent (when used correctly !) - incidently I am experimenting with retracement patterns once the tornado indicates a trade, and i do see a lot of Opportunities in re-entering trades as they move back to the 21/55 and then move off again with the trend....of course you could just stay with the initial signal but clearly sometimes in and out can protect your profits if the trend really falls apart early. Enough waffling.....Since I am going to be a more long term trader awaiting signals on just a few of the currency combos (some of the pairs are too choppy for me re stop loss/spread) I want to see what the Tomcat system can offer to add to my arsenal. is it still £50 for someone who has attended the beginners Forex ? All the best and the more I study the more i realise how lucky I was to stumble onto your training before the sharks got hold of me ! NP -------------------- "Trading foreign exchange on margin carries a high level of risk, and may not be suitable for all investors. The high degree of leverage can work against you as well as for you. Before deciding to invest in foreign exchange you should carefully consider your investment objectives, level of experience, and risk appetite. The possibility exists that you could sustain a loss of some or all of your initial investment and therefore you should not invest money that you cannot afford to lose. You should be aware of all the risks associated with foreign exchange trading, and seek advice from an independent financial advisor if you have any doubts."
